Chancellor won the 1 ½ mile allowance race at Santa
Anita in very gritty fashion. He fought hard coming down the stretch
and after dueling back and forth, took charge and won convincingly.
Unfortunately, while galloping out after he crossed the finish line,
he took a bad step fracturing the sesamoid bone on his left front
leg. We look forward to an uneventful recovery and then a new career
as a stallion.
